SAMI Combat Systems is the umbrella term used to describe the collection of individual combat systems (or SAMI-X Concepts) developed by Peter Weckauf and the SAMI Institute.

All SAMI-X Concepts are structured into a modular learning levels. Generally this consists of Levels 1-6 for students with Level 6 being a “black belt” and a corresponding instructor grading from Levels 1-12 with Level 12 being a “Head Instructor”.

​

All SAMI-X Concepts share the same underlying structure and methodology, with a high portion of training ideas common between all sub-systems.

 

This interchangeability within SAMI-X Concepts allows practitioners to move easily between sub-systems, broadening their expertise -  whilst continually developing their core attributes, achieving a level of expertise difficult to find elsewhere.

SAMI-X Concepts are taught in around 40 countries by/at certified and affiliated SAMI-X instructors, training centres and training academies.
